Katie Kane
Katie took her first yoga class in 2013 in an effort to find a more positive relationship with her mind and body. Soon after that first class, she was hooked and purchased a year-long membership and became a consistent yoga practitioner. In early 2025, Katie began her 200-hour YTT certification from Alex Pfeiffer’s 21st Century Yoga on the Mat and will be graduating from the program in the spring of 2026.
In her professional life, Katie is an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a mental health setting, where she utilizes yoga as a tool to help her clients!
Katie helps her clients enhance self-regulation, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interoceptive awareness, thereby fostering a mind-body connection.
Through the lens of Occupational Therapy and yoga, Katie’s classes seek to create a safe space where students are provided opportunities to learn and grow while making choices throughout their practice to promote safe movements that support their individual bodies. She is a firm believer that “the most advanced yoga pose is the one that works best for your body.”
Join her classes for an opportunity to tune into your body and to grow both in strength and stamina to the extent that feels right for you.
