Ali stumbled into yoga after a nudge from a friend and instantly connected to the teacher’s flow. She made asana practice a weekly habit at her local gym, until her practice matured with the help of many teachers along the way.

Now, her practice and teaching have much more spiritual and energetic components - her yoga is NOT JUST “exercise.”

While there have been constant shifts in her life, her yoga practice remains. Ali has been practicing, studying, and teaching yoga for over 12 years.

Yoga involves mindfully working together with compassionate self-discipline, introspective self-study, and trust in the whole process. She believes that daily connection practices, on and off the mat, allow us to feel into and manage SELF-regulating energies.

She offers the practice and teachings of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Somatics centered on “whole-being well-being”.

As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), her specialty: SomaYoga, integrates Somatics and Yoga practices specifically for relieving pain and surpassing plateaus. Having relieved much of her own pain and discomfort through the connection practices of Yoga, she wishes to share these potent techniques with all who wish to reduce their suffering.

Join her classes for connection practices that seamlessly link the muscular body, smooth breath, and a joyfully focused mind. You can learn more about her at www.somalivewellbeing.com too!
